Paintings at the People’s Ball!

Thank you so much to the Migrant Heritage Commission, especially Executive Director, Grace Valera, for inviting us to exhibit at the People’s Ball yesterday and for the support of the Filipino American community of DC! Our paintings were showcased at the entrance of the gala and they were so wonderful in encouraging attendees to check out the paintings, including us in the program, the speeches, and giving us a full page in the Migrant Heritage Commission’s magazine. The paintings we exhibited are a new collection which Coco and I worked on this late Spring/early Summer.

The Migrant Heritage Commission honored my mother last year as an esteemed community leader and we had a great time as a family attending this year, too! Love the energy…. The event was really SO MUCH fun! I met the award-winning Angelos boys who flew all the way from the Philippines to perform as well as singer (she sang at the latest Pacquiao match) Kirby Asunto, who is adorable and wore the most gorgeous red dress.

I decided to wear “dressy shorts” with one of my favorite tops… Sinta’s take on formal wear 😉

Top and heels: Bebe, Shorts: Zara, Necklace: Charming Charlie
