Ever since Stella McCartney took over the direction of Chloé in 1997, fashion’s first luxury ready to wear line has been characterized by vintage-inspired femininity with many collections drawing from 70s trends such a wide-leg trousers, bow collar blouses and favoring colors in nudes, camels and creams.
Here’s today’s coordinate totally inspired by Chloé ready to wear. The vest is a very old handmedown — definitely from the 70s from one of my older cousins! Adds some true vintage cred! I love the bird detailing on the back! Super randomly, and in contrast to their style (I think) the blouse is from American Apparel! They’ve got a couple color choices but I thought the white looked most elegant.
